version 2014-02 is released
added by Alessandro Rubini on 2014-02-14 11:40:54.056977
We released the official 2014-02 version of spec-sw,
with the latest fmc-bus as submodule ans support for
the new wr-nic gateware binaries. The tools support pps
output and 10MHz input for grandmaster operation.
Moreover, the wrc binary for wr-nic uses ppsi instead of
the now-deprecated ptp-noposix.
spec-sw 2013-05 is released
added by Alessandro Rubini on 2013-05-31 10:25:36.765308
The release includes a number of improvements over v2013-01,
but the package design is the same. We`ll have a new wr-nic driver
soon (spec-sw-2013-06), but meanwhile this merges the new allocation
policy of fmc-bus, properly mandated by Greg-KH after the initial RFC
kernel submission.
The backport branch for this release works happily with Linux-2.6.24,
which is still being used in production machines.

Release tar ball is here: https://www.ohwr.org/project/spec-sw/uploads/5b88f527e4dfc2e0d66f72af31c63d6f/spec-sw-2012-12-14-v2.2.tar.gz
Release 2.0 of spec-sw, with wr-nic
added by Alessandro Rubini on 2012-09-26 12:16:50.414776
I'm proud to announce version 2.0 of the spec-sw package, including
wr-nic and simple-dio support with working examples.
You can update your git repository, or if you miss one you can clone
from git:https://www.ohwr.org/fmc-projects/spec/spec-sw.git .
I uploaded the pdf and complete tarball (the tar is a git clone, as
usual, and it includes compiled documentation for those that lack
TeX). Both are in the "files" tab of the ohwr project. Direct
links
are:

The suggested binaries for the gateware and WRC program are uploaded
as
well, the document has the links inside, but I can repeat them
here:

New release of the spec-demo manual
added by Alessandro Rubini on 2011-09-02 09:02:37.256483
The new spec-demo manual is released, in the new "software support for
SPEC" ohwr package.
It includes new advances in vhdl and lm32 code by Tomek and Greg. The
synchronization
I get on my hardware is implessivile better than what my (poor) scope
can show.
