Noise on signal outputs when chaining multiple boards
It has been verified that when two or more boards, used to drive signals on the same system, are powered from the same power supply (by using the extra barrel connector on each board to daisy-chain them), there is a lot of noise on all signal outputs. The noise disappears if the boards are powered from separate power supplies.
Since we are using an isolated DC/DC converter, this should not happen. The fact that we see this noise means that the isolation is somehow "broken" and there is an unintentional signal return path. See also #1507 for a possible reason.
