Quit upon error should generate an error code different than 0
In case hdlmake tool is used within a shell script or makefile, the
following code generates an exit code of 0:
if condition:
logging.error("description of problem...")
quit()
The exit code 0 will not help much to deal with the problem in the
script or makefile.
It should be replaced by:
if condition:
logging.error("description of problem...")
quit(1)
OR*
if condition:
raise Exception("description of problem...")
