[LEDs] Bicolour LEDs for RS485 RX line status
It could be studied to change the LEDs intended for pulse repetition for bicolour ones. By using bicolour ones in both the front and rear panel it can be easily shown three states:
- The RS485 RX input has not enough differential signal (unconnected or way to long end-to-end connection).
- The RS485 RX input has enough differential signal (end-to-end
connection established).
- A pulse has been replicated.
It could be a nice help for operators to check everything in the field, instead of remotely accessing to the board to readback a status register in a certain crate.
Below a copy of the email sent to Matthieu about the complexity of the feature, the boards involved and the components needed:

The model we have now is:

we can wire, at least, six more lines between the front and the
piggyback.

connect the biggest possible number of lines between the VME and the
piggyback) and ask for a V2 of both the RTM motherboard and the RS485
piggyback.
